EDI is an efficient method of communicating business
information between two companies. Data is exchanged computer to computer
eliminating paper documents. Information circulates more rapidly and does
not have to be re-entered into a business partners computer.

from the shipper to the carrier, contains all required information
regarding a shipment. In some cases, this transaction may be used
as a load tender or pickup notification.

interline carrier or freight broker. It is used as an invoice to
request payment for services rendered.

Shipment Status: This

shipment in the delivery process.
